As one of the best-performing weeks of the year, the final week of March has ended. Whereas Ethereum finds support around $35k, Bitcoin has support around the $70,000 mark. It raises the question of who, despite the positive state of the market, will be the biggest cryptocurrency losers for the coming week. 

With a fear and greed score of 80 this week, the cryptocurrency market has remained in an excessive greed zone. The market capitalization has also increased by 0.30% to $2.66 trillion

The top cryptocurrency losers for the week include KuCoin, Bittensor, Fantom, Worldcoin, and Kaspa, according to the CoinmarketCap data. Let’s examine each of their performances individually. 

The KuCoin Token (KCS) 

This week, the native token of the KuCoin exchange, KCS, had a significant decline of 22% due to the continuous legal difficulties surrounding it. This week’s top performer among cryptocurrency losers is KCS. At $10.68, the token’s price has fallen to its lowest point of the week. At $1,050,558,550, the token’s market cap has decreased by 8% as well. Conversely, the trade volume has increased by 92% to $7,556,506

Bittensor (TAO) 

After suffering a 7% decrease, Bittensor (TAO) is currently valued at $3,178,010,133, placing it in 44th place on CoinmarketCap. Currently, it is trading at $487.97, following a 16% decline this week. 

Before this, TAO’s price dropped after peaking at $730.21, just short of its all-time high target of $759.61. The token has reached two peaks this month that are close to its all-time high, and as TAO’s trading volume has increased by 213% to $100,444,893, a third peak will likely develop in the coming days. 

Fantom (FTM) 

Fantom previously hit a two-year high of $1.1378 before dropping to its current $0.9508 price. Its market cap has also decreased, with a 3.5% decline to its current value of $2,665,685,438. 

This occurred after the FTM’s trading volume experienced a $10.23% decline, reaching $173,285,308. 

Worldcoin (WLD) 

After a decline, Worldcoin reached a new all-time high of $11.82 at the beginning of March. At $8.29, it is currently over 30% less than the ATH. Even with all the talk about AI, Worldcoin has needed help taking off and is currently listed as one of the cryptocurrency losers. 

But as of right now, the cryptocurrency is attempting to rise as its market capitalization has increased by 1.06% to $1,369,816,446. With a 12% increase in trading volume, the value has risen to $327,320,737. 

Kaspa (KAS) 

According to Kaspa (KAS), the first three months of 2024 have been bullish. At the end of February, it had soared to an all-time high of $0.1894. Following the ATH record, there was a decline in which the value fell by 28%. 

After a 5% decline in a week, it trades at $0.1353. Its market capitalization, which is $3,134,568,146, is down 1.22%. The trade volume has increased by 15% in contrast to these losses, bringing the value up to $57,287,261

In summary 

This month, many cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and numerous other altcoins, reached new all-time high values. On the other hand, several people lost their earlier profits. The top cryptocurrency losses for this week include the native token of the KuCoin exchange.
