Shiba Inu Price Drops: Developers Burn Over 13 Billion Tokens

Shiba Inu’s burn rate increased by almost 23,000% in the last day, an extraordinary increase.
Despite these substantial burning efforts, SHIB’s price dropped by over 7% in the same time frame.
Leading the push for a BONE listing on Binance in the interim is leading developer Shytoshi Kusama of Shiba Inu.

Even when developers burned almost 13 billion tokens in a single day, the price of Shiba Inus dropped.
Surprisingly, despite the meme currency developers’ intense burning activity, the price of Shiba Inu is struggling.

The SHIB burn rate increased by 23,133% on the last day due to developers’ deliberate destruction of almost 13 billion tokens. At the going rate of the market, that’s about $463,000.

Spikes in Shiba Inu Burn Rate Exceed 23,000%

There were two separate transactions involved in this Shiba Inu burning process. Developers first burnt 9.6 billion SHIB tokens, worth roughly $332,000. They then proceeded to burn an extra 3.8 million SHIB tokens, estimated to be worth $131,384.

Furthermore, developers sold off 19,551 BONE tokens, estimated to be worth $22,874, and 28 LEASH tokens, worth $21,600.

The Shiba developers carried out these burnings, but the Shibarium users and builders made it feasible for them to happen. Shiba Inu influencer Lucie stated, “There are people who just engage with farms by talking about burns, and then there are those who are actually working on progress—understand the difference.”

Lucie also took the chance to commend Shibarium users and developers, who have been instrumental in promoting the network’s uptake. Notwithstanding the enthusiasm, the price of SHIB has dropped more than 23% from its annual peak on March 5.

Fascinatingly, according to technical analyst Ali Martinez, the current price action may be a component of a consolidation phase that could lead to additional advances.

Shiba Inus form a symmetrical triangle on the 4-hour chart. Martinez stated that a strong closing over the resistance level of $0.000038 would set off a 40% bullish breakout, driving SHIB towards $0.000052.

ShibArmy Requests That Binance Include BONE

In related news, Shiba Inu’s principal developer, Shytoshi Kusama, is fervently pushing for Binance to list ShibaSwap’s BONE token.

The Futures NEXT Programme was launched on March 7 by the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world based on trade volume, allowing users to predict token listings. Users can still forecast and vote for the tokens they think will be listed, even though Binance clarified that nominations will not influence listing decisions.

Following the announcement, the community came together to support the BONE token, with Kusama urging members to demonstrate their strength by casting ballots for the digital asset.

“This work is not heavy.” This will also be posted by me tomorrow. I’ve requested assistance from the Bad Brigade and the K9 unit. Kusama asked, “Who else will stand with us?

BONE, a digital resource essential to the Shiba Inu community, has developed past its meme roots. Shibarium, the network’s Layer 2 solution, must be used since it allows validators to stake and communicate with the network while simplifying transaction fees.

With almost 37,101 votes, BONE is presently ranked third on the nomination list, according to Binance. However, it lags behind Baby DogeCoin and Delysium, who have accumulated 40,028 and 91,728 votes, respectively.
