Injective launched the Ionic Bridge for the Injective Bridge.
The Injective improvement will enable it to connect more with the Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos ecosystems.
The INJ coin has seen a 3% increase since the news update.
Layer-1 blockchain Injective (INJ) has introduced its Ionic Upgrade to the Injective Bridge, a feature expected to improve interoperability across several networks.
Ionic Upgrade to Drive Interoperability.
According to reports about the planned Ionic upgrade to the Injective Bridge, this development will result in a scenario in which sophisticated interoperability meets standard user experience. Furthermore, these advantages are supposed to be free or low-cost.
As a result, users may easily switch between blockchains such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Cosmos (ATOM). Similarly, certain basic assets can be connected to a specific address, offering greater flexibility.
Over time, Injective has evolved into one of the most interoperable chains in the digital asset market. The goods evidence this capacity and feature the protocol consistently introduced into the industry. Injective made their inEVM Layer 2 rollup solution available on the mainnet in early March. Notably, this came after the successful establishment of its testnet.
With the newly released project, Ethereum developers can create Decentralized Applications (DApps) that are low-cost, quick and have almost no costs. InEVM was the first Ethereum Virtual Machine rollup “capable of achieving true composability across Cosmos and Solana.”

This solution also aimed to improve blockchain interoperability and develop its L2 ecosystem.
Injective remains a consistent builder.
With the release of the Injective Ionic Upgrade, the protocol has established itself as one of the most consistent producers of its native chain.
Before InEVM, a major mainnet upgrade known as Volan aimed to integrate Real-World Assets (RWAs) into the blockchain ecosystem. Volan improves interoperability by enhancing the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol within the Injective architecture. This promotes seamless interaction between INJ and the other chains in the Cosmos ecosystem.
It is worth noting that the Ionic upgrade also includes using the broader IBC protocol. This complements the fact that it connects the most recent assets via Wormhole2.0. Despite all of Injective’s gains, the protocol remains focused on building a fundamental hub for the broader financial ecosystem to grow.
“To achieve this, it is crucial to ensure that any asset stemming from distinct chains can find a home and easily onboard onto Injective,” the protocol known as L1 was introduced on X.
The Ionic Upgrade is on the route to taking the Injective Bridge to a new level, allowing it to serve more users in various fields. The most recent update has caused a 3% increase in the price of INJ, bringing the token to $39.03 when the larger market is under adverse volatility pressure.
