Elon Musk Threatens to Ban Apple Devices in His Office

Musk also recommended stringent safety measures, such as mandating that employees place their Apple devices in a Faraday cage when they arrive. Following Apple’s change, Musk expressed even more concerns about security and privacy, highlighted by this severe approach.

In the past, Apple declared that it would enhance Siri’s query-answering capabilities by incorporating OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Thanks to this integration, Siri may now send requests involving documents and images to ChatGPT, a subsidiary of Apple Intelligence, for additional processing.

Additionally, Apple plans to release a feature called “Writing Tools” to let users create new texts and utilize AI to alter existing ones. Apple intends to integrate OpenAI’s picture production capabilities to improve device engagement and assist users in creating visual content for documents.

Musk said Apple needed to be more smart to develop its artificial intelligence. He also brought up privacy issues because of the new agreement between Apple and OpenAI. In a post, he stated, “Apple has no idea what’s actually going on once they hand over your data to OpenAI.” They’re selling you down the river.

Cook and Musk’s tense relationship reveals strain

The latest events are a part of Musk’s complicated relationship with OpenAI, a business he co-founded in 2015. Musk has become increasingly critical of OpenAI, saying it abandoned its initial goals and put money before innovation and security.

Musk is suing OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, because of his disagreements with the firm. Furthermore, disagreements regarding Apple’s payment practices are the root of Musk’s tense relationships with the corporation; nevertheless, a 2022 meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook appeared to ameliorate tensions short-lived.
